Mrs. Ford's Bio ~

I am excited to be joining Ridge Community High School this school year.  I have taught for four years in Florida and one year in Indiana.  However, I am originally from Brookfield, IL, just outside of Chicago.  I enjoy many different hobbies including bicycling, rollerblading, reading, writing, orienteering, photography, and oil painting.  This year I am coaching Volleyball and Girls' soccer. 

I am a project oriented teacher.  Althought you will see lecture, (the dreaded) note-taking, tests, and quizzes, I believe that students learn best by doing.
